Quick comment: Starting from a real case of murdering in Texas, Herzog conceives this
superb documentary about death penalty. Not only focusing the
alienation or the motives of the murderers, he rather goes deeper, by showing
the side effects felt by the victim's families and also by ones working on
death row. Having clarified his own point of view, Herzog leaves at the same
time a wide margin for being debated on this matter.
