Plot: A shy genius is employed by his former university to design robot software.
Quick comment: “Eva” didn’t make a significant impression on me. The story lingers too
much in its first part. When finally tries to raise the levels of interest… it
is too late. The rhythm, mood and even the special effects didn’t grab my
attention. Very futuristic, although completely out of balance and predictable.
Relevant awards: Best first film (Saint Jordi, Turia); best new director (Goya); best special effects (Goya, Sitges).
