Quick comment: The
ascension and decline of "L’apollonide" brothel gives us an ideia of how the prostitutes had to cope with all types of fetiches
and sometimes mistreatments indulged by their clients. Each of these women have revealed to be dead inside, stucked in their vain hopes of having a decent life
and struggling to put an end to their infinite debts and anguish. We can feel their pain even without overdramatic or sentimental
scenes showing up.
